Labor Day Pageant Contestants
This Sunday, September 3, the Labor Day
This Sunday, September 3, the Labor Day Pageant will be held at the pavilion on Main Street at 2 pm. The contestants, Tess Benson, Jacie Bradbury, PHS student Morgan Knoblett, PHS student Addison McNair, and PHS graduate Katie Lanham will be competing to be the 2023 Labor Day Queen.
Even before the pageant takes place, the contestants will be busy. Saturday morning the contestants will help with the Pancake Breakfast on Main Street, and that evening they will be announced in the arena before the rodeo.
On Sunday evening, after the queen is crowned and the first runner-up is named, all of the contestants will be walking around the arena selling 50/50 raffle tickets.
