OPH Track at Lawrencville

The Wildcats were in action on Wednesday at a multi-team meet in Lawrenceville. The boys placed third, beating out Vincennes Rivet, while the girls finished last behind Robinson, Red Hill, and Rivet.

For the boys, Jack Hawkins won the shot put, and Garrett Russel placed second and Jansen Ping was fifth. Jack also placed second in the discus and Garrett was fourth. Ray Woodward finished fourth in the long jump and Will Callaway was second in the high jump. TJ Pringle was fifth in the 400 and 4th in the 800.
The 4×100 was second and the 4×200 was also second.

For the girls, Morgan Knoblett placed fourth in the long jump and 6th in the 200. Valentine Kersten was third in the 800. Isla Wirey was fifth in the mile. Kielyn Wilson was fourth in the hurdles. The 4×200 relay was second. Bailey Mitchell was fifth in the shot put. Daylen Beckes was third in discus, while Emily Rachoy was fifth.

The boys will travel to Newton on Friday for the Eagle Invite. The girls will be back in action on Monday in Newton for the Lady Eagle Invite.
