Rosatis

Rosatis

Close to 100 years ago Sam Rosati lived by these words “Give the people what they want.” But he didn’t know how much this would shape the heart that Rosati’s is today.

Sam’s dad began the family’s tradition of serving Italian food to customers in New York back in the 1890’s. They would later move to Chicago and open yet another fine Italian restaurant featuring “Italian Style Pizza.” This pizza had homemade tomato sauce and was served on a crispy piece of bread. In 1927 Sam opened his own Italian restaurant in downtown Chicago. In 1964, the very first Rosati’s Pizza opened its doors in a suburb of Chicago. By 1978, 10 individual Rosati family members owned Rosati’s Pizza locations. In 1979, the family decided to franchise.

Did you know the dough is made fresh daily, never frozen, and is baked on a traditional rotating pizza deck oven? Rosati’s offers four different types of crusts: thin, double dough, Chicago deep dish, and stuffed. Rosati’s not only offers pizza, but they also have sandwiches, pastas, wings, salads, breadsticks, chicken tenders, mushrooms, onion rings, and much more.

You can also come in and enjoy your favorite sports games on one of their many big screen TVs. If you have a larger group and want to bring them in, they welcome that as well. They have large booths and can move tables around to accommodate larger groups.

Be sure to also check out Rosati’s catering options as well for any gatherings you may be having that you do not want to have to cook for!

Rosati’s has it all.
