The results are in. The 2018 Illinois State Scholars for Palestine High School seniors are Macy Biggs, Carson Fritchie, and Evan Holscher. Illinois State Scholars are not selected by a committee but instead earn the award based on their academic achievements. It is determined on the student’s Grade Point Average (GPA), Class Rank, and Standardized Testing Scores (SAT/ACT). These scholars are ranked in the top 10% of seniors attending public schools in Illinois, and this program is arguably the highest academic honor given to public high school seniors in Illinois! Macy Biggs says, “I think it is great that the three of us have received such a title.” We want to congratulate our seniors and their accomplishments throughout high school.
