This week’s freshman spotlight is Gracie Alumbaugh.

In her free time Gracie likes to hang out with Addi or lay in her bed and watch her favorite movie, Home Alone.  She also enjoys riding her four-wheeler when it is nice outside. Gracie has also played softball for 10 years! Her favorite time of year is summer because she gets to do her favorite things such as softball and riding. 

I asked Gracie, “What were your emotions when coming to high school?”

She said, “ I was so excited for the next chapter in my life, but at the same time I was nervous and scared. I basically was feeling all of the emotions!”

Gracie is involved in the school yearbook and also the softball team. She stated that her favorite part of high school so far is that she has so much more freedom then when she was at the grade school. Her main goal throughout high school is to keep high grades and to get more involved through the school. During college Gracie wants to study physiology.
