Wabash Park Events in Vincennes

Camping season is upon us and a great spot is Wabash Park in Vincennes. There are four cabins at the park that are available for rent for fairly cheap. Memorial Day weekend they are all booked and the 4th of  July is almost full, though. There is also an RV/camper area where there are hook ups and places to park, as well as an area for setting up a tent and camping the real way instead of “glamping.” You can pick up a brochure of the campsites in the camp office.  The website, https://knoxcountyparks.com/campground/ is where you can look at pictures and rent out the cabins as well as see a map of the park.

On May 14th at Wabash Trails Park, also known as Oubache Trails Park, there will be a flea market. You do not have to pay for a space like at most flea markets. Instead, vendors get to set up for free. Vendors are also allowed to use the shelters at the park if they do not have their own tables to bring. The event will start at 8am and last for a majority of the day. There will also be room to set up in the park’s office building.
