Two elves Dannika and Zoey

On Thursday, December 1st, Palestine’s Drama Club performed two ten minute plays at three different nursing homes: Ridgeview Care Center, Brookstone Estates, and Timber Creek Village.

The first play performed was My FedEx Christmas Request. Performing in this play was Dannika Fulling as Harriet the Elf, Jacob Christine as Nicky Parks, and Zoey Rinesmith as Libby the Elf. The second play was A Christmas Chaos. Performing in this play was Abby Hyre as Fred/Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Ahlya Abel as Stage Manager/Peter, Autumn Taylor as Jacob Marley/Young Scrooge/Tiny Tim/Businessman, Chance Wilber as Scrooge, Kaden McCormack as Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cratchit/Belle, Zoey Rinesmith Ghost of Christmas Past/Present/Businessman/Charity Person.

The performances were well received at all three places, but mostly at Brookstone and Timbercreek, where residents were enthusiastic and encouraging.  Brookstone Estates posted pictures and a glowing review on facebook before the students had even returned to school at 3:15!

These two ten minute plays will also be performing on December 9th and 11th along with the big performance Cafe Murder. Come out and support everyone participating!
