On Friday, September 23, Oblong High School had their Homecoming parade. The parade featured Oblong Homecoming Court, Crawford County CEO, OPH Football, FFA, OPH Bass Fishing and Class Floats.

Unfortunately not everything went smoothly. As the FFA tractor was leaving, Lane Lockheart slipped off the tractor, hitting his back of the wheel and falling to the ground. He has had surgery on his leg, they braced his back. He is now recovering in Evansville, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
