At the beginning of the year, I reviewed the Vincennes Food Trucks on the Wabash. In October, they stopped the festival for the summer, but now that it is warming up outside, the trucks are back. Every Monday between 5-8 there will be a choice of many trucks to choose from and live music. Last year, they won the Knox County 2021 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Annual Community Event.

This Monday, the 18th, will be their first week back after the winter break. The sponsor for this week is Lasata Wines – Winery, Private Party, and Special Event Venue. The live music will be from Bill and Randy’s local band “Just 1 More.” To find out what trucks will be there on Monday, follow their page on Facebook where they give weekly updates on who is the weekly sponsor and who the live music will be.

Some trucks that were there last year include Thianamite, Two Farmers Burgers and Beignets, Kolb’s Culinary Creations, Forster’s Frosters, Grub on the Go, Twisted Toaster, Hens and Chicks, Soul Food on Wheels, Macho Taco, and Zip ‘n Sip’s I Hart Ice Cream truck. Thianamite is a truck that sits most days at the 6th street Vendor Mall, and Zip ‘n Sip is a building on Hart Street that also has a food truck.
