Christmas break for me starts Wednesday, December 20th. Some students qualify to not take finals this year. Finals will take place next Thursday and Friday, if you have to take them. My break consists of a lot of family and feeling grateful. I get to visit with almost all my family and friends over break.

On December 16th, right before break I have a Christmas. This will be one of my bigger Christmas gatherings this year. I get to see my nieces and nephews that I don’t see that often. This is one of my favorite parts of each year. I will then come back to school for 3 days, and I will take my Bio 4 final. This final is mandatory because it is a dual credit class.

After December 20th, I will most likely sleep in every chance I get. I plan to work more on days I can. I have my next Christmas on the 23rd. This is my 2nd gathering. After this, I don’t have anything until Christmas day, which is just with my immediate family. I work Christmas morning. Then, on Christmas evening, I will have another family gathering. This family gathering is my biggest one and I see a lot of people I usually don’t see most of the time.

My next gathering, and last one will be December 30th. This Christmas gathering, we eat lots of good food and have traditions. There will be a family famous cheesy meat dip for our chips. Also cheesy potato soup and good desserts! I can’t wait for the food! My break will consist of a lot of food, and family.

On New Years, I don’t have any plans as of now. I will most likely end up hanging out with my family. We usually do this each year but I have not thought about New Years yet. I will also try to go look at Olney and Newton’s Christmas lights over my break. I really love doing this each year and they are amazing! I look at the Palestine lights almost daily!

Over the entirety of my break, I will study for a TEAs Exam. This is something I will be taking at the end of January. This is an exam to qualify for LTC’s Nursing Program. Although I don’t want to study over break, I will have to. I will have enough down time to study so I will take advantage of it! That pretty much sums up my break! I can’t wait!

My dad’s side of the family. My uncles, cousins, and grandma.
My step siblings.
My nieces and nephews.
Taking a nap at Christmas! This happens all the time during Christmas break!
