The PHS Student Senate will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, September 21 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The blood drive is in partnership with the American Red Cross. Donors are able to make appointments online, but walk-ins are more than welcome. In the current blood shortage, it is important to give if you can.

The American Red Cross provides a scholarship for 1 (or in last year’s case 2) student who has volunteered in the drives, and/or is a frequent blood donor. This scholarship is based on how many units of blood are donated throughout the school year. This current drive is still seeking around 20 donors! If you are 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent) you are eligible to give. For those who are unable, spread the word!
