Senior Blitz

On April 13, 2022, seniors from Palestine, Robinson, Hutsonville, Oblong, and Martinsville went to Lincoln Trail College for a day full of learning and fun activities. We went there because all of the other classes were taking state tests and the juniors were taking their SATs.

The day started off with all of the schools meeting inside of the gym where we picked up our name tags, got cool bags to keep with us throughout the day, saw the DJ going hard with the music, and there was this game where you had to guess the correct amount of whatever was in the jar. After that, all the schools split up into groups where we toured the campus, played more games in the gym, learned about how to be professional, played trivia games in the auditorium, and everyone’s favorite part was lunch. We got Jersey Mike’s subs, so that was pretty nice instead of eating school lunches. I thought it was a pretty cool trip. We did fun stuff, but at the same time, we learned what LTC had to offer for everyone.
