The annual Teeny Tiny Tea Party hosted at the Fife Opera House has been canceled this year.  The tea party is usually held the afternoon of Superbowl Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This is a party that many young girls attend year after year.  It’s so popular that tickets have to be purchased in advance, and they usually wind up selling out!

The Teeny Tiny Tea Party usually consists of tea, finger foods, a doll-parade, songs, and door prizes.  A brand new American Girl Doll is given out every year.  This is something I always attended growing up.  It was such a special event that I got to experience with my Mom, Grandma, and Aunt.  It saddens me that my younger sister is missing out on it.

This is the second year in a row that the tea party has been cancelled.  Think of all of the young girls that don’t get the tea party experience.  The reason for the cancellation was due to, you guessed it… COVID.
