Anyone with a feline friend can tell you that they can be the sweetest creatures imaginable. Cats can be very cuddly, and super adorable when they snuggle up to go to sleep. Cat owners can also tell you that they are all demons, straight from the fiery pits.

I love my cats. I have four, all with very distinct personalities. I’ve had a lot of pets, and out of all of them, the cats are the crackheads. A cat will sleep all day in the sun just to shoot around the kitchen like a rocket at three in the morning. Cats are only extremes, with one side being so high energy that you have fur in your nose for a month, and the other side being that they are so lazy that they only move if the bowl is shaken.

If you’re a cat owner, guess what? You might also be a tree! My littlest cats have a lovely habit of scaling every person that walks in the front door. Height is not a deterrent, as these funky little stuntmen fear nothing. They just go for the neck, I swear, and you better be wearing thick clothes or there will be claw holes in your legs.

A day in the life of a cat owner includes endless amounts of fir, loss of sanity, and a mutual respect that no other animal will give you. In my opinion, cats are the best pets to have if you just want a homie to hang out with.
