Throwing it back to the early 2000s, the Superbowl halftime performance will be with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige. This year, Superbowl Sunday falls the day before Valentines day on February 13.  The show will start at 5:30 on NBC. The SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, is where Superbowl LVI will be held.

In the commercial announcement, Snoop, Dre, Eminem, Lamar, and Blige all get a call. They stop what they are doing, and meet up at the stadium. Hence why the commercial is called, “The Call.” The halftime show is sponsored by Pepsi. Popular tracks by the artists can be heard in the commercial. “Rap God,” “Still D.R.E.,” “California Love,” “Humble,” and “Family Affair” are the songs. The commercial was directed by F. Gary Gary.

Dre began his musical career in 1986 with the rap group, NWA. Snoop Dogg began making music in 1992. Eminem’s fame started in 1996. Mary J. Blige has been making music since 1991. Kendrick Lamar is the baby of the group and started making music in 2004. There are a lot of experienced musical talent this year.
