Image result for wolves Illinois is getting some wolves that are from Wisconsin. Reports are saying that some wolves that have been marked for research are moving south from Wisconsin into Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois. There have been a few sightings and some incidents that show there wolves as far south in Illinois as Crawford County. The number has been low, but a pack, and possibly more, has been seen in the area. What does this mean for the community? As you are all aware, the general area around here has a lot of deer, which is a common and preferred prey animal for packs of wolves. They will mainly impact the hunting community, along with the ecosystem. Since the wolves will mainly eat deer, deer hunters may struggle a little during hunting season, which means the food that deer eat will be more abundant, causing a surge in other animals coming here, so there will possibly be less car accidents that involves a deer.
