Pioneer Track Takes First and Third Overall in Casey

On Monday April 1st, the Palestine track team traveled to Casey to compete in a track meet. This was their second track meet of the 2019 season, and they all did a great job. Many athletes from Palestine placed in their events.

The girls team placed first overall and they brought home many individual wins. Summer Agan got  first place in shot put, Kendra Biggs got second place in shot put and discus, Megan Burton placed second in the 200 meter dash, and the girls 4X100 team placed second, but they were close to getting first. The third place finishes consisted of Marissa Lanham in 1600 meter race, and Summer Agan in discus.

The boys team placed third place overall and they also scored many individual wins. First place finishes were by the 4X100 relay, and Chase Knoblett in both hurdle races. Second places consisted of Chase in high jump, and Nathan More placed third in the 800 meter race.
