Field Trip to Coco’s

The I.F.C.S. classes took a field trip to Coco’s Café and Wine Bar on March 6th. They had a three-course meal that consisted of a salad or soup, 6 entrees to choose from, and assorted desserts. The group was seated in the Barn, which is an entertainment area off of the main restaurant. It would be a great place for a small wedding reception, birthday party, or company Christmas party.

There were 32 students on this trip and almost everyone was impressed with the service, food, and atmosphere. They also got to tour every facility that is offered at New Leaf Fitness. The most surprising thing about the whole tour was how small the kitchen was. They are actually going to be remodeling a certain spot in the building to have a bigger kitchen. Quentin Postlewaite says that Coco’s is about as fancy as you can get around here, just being a step above a good dine-in restaurant.

Hopefully people from the trip decide to go back to try more of the meals that they offer there!
