Crawford County has a new one stop shop for all women to enjoy. Read below to learn more information.

Polished Salon, by Mindi Jenkins, originated in Palestine in her she-shed just off of her house. After that, she upgraded to a salon on Main Street of Palestine where she added two employees, Sierra Cupp and Wendy Halterman, and a new service, facials. Last May, Jenkins made a huge jump, and great business decision, and moved to her salon to its forever home in Robinson, IL. The salon is now located at 600 N Jackson St. Robinson IL, 62454. Since the expansion of the salon, there has also been an expansion of employees and services. Along with the move, a new nail tech, Kalin Littlejohn, and beautician, Kelsey Fuller, have been added to the Polished Family.

Mindi, Sierra, Wendy, and Kalin offer manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, gel nails, bridal nails, and nail art. Kelsey offers hair cuts, color, extensions installations and move ups, hair styles, and waxing. The Polished Salon also has a room dedicated for facials. Sierra Cupp and Grace Bogard are currently sharing the room, but a full time esthetician is coming this December.

One of the most recent expansions to the Polished family is Polished Boutique! Mindi and her two best friends, Jennifer Crampton and Valerie Shidler, decided to go into business together and opened the boutique this past Summer.

Did you think the Polished girls were done yet? Not quite, they still have another service up their sleeves! The newest addition is announced just yet, but will be soon. Those girls are sure to keep you on your toes! To be up to date on this new adventure, make sure to follow their Facebook and Instagram @polishedsalon. If you would like to make an appointment with any of the girls, you can call the salon at 618-544-1670.

Hi! I'm Charlie Burkett, a senior at PHS. I keep myself very busy being an OPH football cheerleader and working three jobs at Beard Pools, Polished Boutique, and Tric Athletics. I am excited to be a part of the journalism class this year. This class will give me the opportunity to get out and go to more school events.
