Would You Rather Walk or Drive?

There are a lot of people that would rather walk, and the rest love to drive to their destinations. The good things about walking are maintaining a healthy weight and losing body fat, increasing energy levels, and increasing muscle endurance. If you want to drive, it helps build your confidence.  If it’s really hot or cold out, you don’t have to worry about being hot or freezing. The bad thing about driving is that gas is way too expensive to drive all the time. When you walk, you don’t have to deal with this problem, but if you walk everywhere, it will take a longer time than using a car and getting places faster.

In my opinion, I would love to drive over walking, but some days I don’t have to travel that far in town.  I would like to walk if it is really nice out and not too hot or cold. I asked some people in my school about how they felt about this topic, and the first person I asked was, Tyler Dennison.  He said, “I like to drive to places more than walk, but if it is nice and I have to work, I would prefer to walk because gas prices are just crazy now.”
