The Blood Drive

The Blood Drive

The student senate is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, March 30th.

There are so many benefits to donating blood. Some of which include: Saving lives, helping cure or helping battle blood diseases and helping in the development of cancer treatments.

The Red Cross is constantly facing a very horrible shortage of blood and a lot of blood drives have been cancelled already this year. That is why we are hosting another blood drive so we can help people get blood.

Donating blood is really important. Just one donation can save many lives up to about 3.

If you donate roughly 4 times you can get red cords for graduation if that is a thing you are interested in.

I have never donated blood before in my life, but I know many people who have. They help many people when they do it and they are so happy when they do.

I believe donating blood is an amazing thing that we can do for the people in need of it. A lot of people need blood so if you can donate you would be doing a fantastic thing.
