A lot of people never would have thought they’d see the Bengals in the Superbowl. They are still a young team, but they have a lot of raw talent and are surprising a lot of people. What’s their secret to success, and how did they make it to the Superbowl? Here’s a look at their best players and how the roster was put together.

C.J Uzomah, a tight end, was drafted in 2015. Tyler Boyd, a wide receiver, was drafted in 2016. Joe Mixon, a running back, was drafted in 2017. Jessie Bates, a safety, was drafted in 2018. Sam Hubbard, a left defensive end, was drafted in 2018. Zac Taylor, the head coach was hired in 2019. Jonah Williams, a left offensive-tackle, was drafted in 2019. Germaine Pratt, a linebacker, was drafted in was drafted in 2019. D.J. Reader, a nose-guard, was drafted in 2019. Vonn Bell, a safety, was drafted in 2020. Joe Burrow, the quarterback, was drafted in 2020. He’s only in his second year and is already taking his team to the Superbowl; his future is bright. Tee Higgins, a wide receiver, was drafted in 2020. Logan Wilson, a linebacker, was drafted in 2020. Quinton Spain, a left guard, signed with Bengals in 2020. Trey Hendrickson, right defensive end, signed in 2021. Chidobe Awazie, a cornerback signed in 2021. Mike Hilton signed in 2021. Eli Apple, a safety, signed in 2022. Ja’Marr Chase, a wide receiver and a rookie was drafted in 2021. He broke the all-time single game receiving yards record for a rookie this year, and broke multiple franchise receiving records for a rookie. Evan McPherson, a kicker and was drafted in 2021. As a rookie he kicked his team through the second and third round of the playoffs, hitting two game winning field goals. No doubt the talent is there to win it all, but will they perform to their best ability when playing the Los Angeles Rams?
