Bang Energy Feature: Bangster Berry

Shyan Dunlap, author

After Christmas break we are all out of our normal routine and probably having some issues staying awake and alert throughout the school day. Maybe a little extra caffeine will help such as a Bangster Berry Bang. I must warn of the high caffeine content though.

As with all Bang Energy drinks, this drink has 300 mg of caffeine, 0 calories, 0 sugars, and is full of super creatine. I prefer Bang because there is no sugar which means no sugar crash later. As per usual, I had a few of my brave classmates taste this drink to see just what everyone else thinks.

The taste testers for this flavor were Gavin, Tyler, Michlynn, Steph, Makinley, Krescene and Kieran.

Gavin said, “don’t really like it” and that there was “too much berry.”

It wasn’t really Tyler’s favorite either; he said, “Tastes good but it was too overpowering.”

Michlynn said, “It tastes very strong and fruity.”

Steph thinks it’s candy-like saying, “Tastes like a sweet tart or bottle caps.”

Makinley thought it was “really sweet — almost too sweet…tastes like a sweet mixed berry carbonated water.”

Krescene gave a very detailed description saying, “Almost a little tart, kind of burns my nose, smells like those grape-scented markers from the book fair.”

Kieran, unlike most other people, loved it, saying, “It tasted like a sweet tart; it was delicious.”

Krescene and Makinley both gave this flavor a 6/10.

My Official Bang Energy Taste Tester Review 8/10.
