My Tradition of watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Thanksgiving is the time for being thankful, friends, and family. It’s also a time for seeing distant family that you normally don’t see that often, just being around family spending time together.

Many families do Thanksgiving differently from others. Some do them the same, but every family does something special or unique from others. Many have family traditions that are not really classified as traditions but should be.

Mrs. Hyde said that her family on Thanksgiving day always goes to the movies after their Thanksgiving dinner.

Makinley said that her family always goes to her grandparents for Thanksgiving every year.

Michlynn said that her family always goes to Walmart or a store after Thanksgiving dinner to check out the Black Friday deals.

Other traditions that families probably do are  go around and tell each other what we are thankful for, watch classic holiday movies, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or Thanksgiving day football and playing different games while waiting for the food to finish cooking. All family do many different traditions differently.

My family always has football on the tv while we all sit around finishing up with the sides while the uncles are outside cooking the turkey. Almost everyone has the same tradition of sending the guests home with leftovers because who doesn’t love eating Thanksgiving again and again?
