Pay It Forward: Christmas tree

This year Pay it Forward is putting up a Christmas tree in the Palestine High School for the second year in a row.  Instead of being surrounded with gifts for PHS students, though, Pay It Forward is asking students and staff to surround the tree with gifts PHS students and staff GIVE.

Like last year, the tree will be covered with ornaments marked with different ages and genders for needy grade school students in the the Palestine School District. High school students and PHS staff are encouraged to take an ornament off the tree and purchase a gift for that gender and age child.  After the gift is purchased, Pay It Forward asks that the buyer wrap the gift and attach the ornament before placing the gift under the tree.

There are children in our district whose Christmas will be a little bit merrier this year, thanking to the generosity of the PHS student body and staff.
