Since the new school year has started up, I haven’t had the chance to be able to talk to many of the new freshman, but the one that I most recently spoke with was Gavin Parrish. I used to talk to him whenever I played junior high baseball, and he was ready for high school. Gavin enjoys being here at Palestine because all of his classes are super chill with laid back teachers. He told me, “I like to make new friends during school, and outside of school, I enjoy playing basketball.”  Gavin is not sure about what his future plans are, but they are going to be amazing!
