The Junior class is working concessions at Friday’s Football game. Juniors be sure to sign up to work if you aren’t in cheer or football. If there are any other non-junior students who would like to help please see Mrs. Cohorst or Mr. Smith to sign up.

Lincoln Trail College Fall Prospect Showcase- Baseball- October 20th at 1pm Parker Field at LTC. Flyer and registration forms in the PHS office. If you are interested pick one up!

Upcoming college visits in the library 9:45am: Oct. 10 IECC

History Club is selling Boston’s Best Coffee. They offer a variety flavors and you can purchase packs or pods. Last day to order is October 11th.

PHS will honor all senior football players and senior cheerleaders at the game Friday. Parents will get in free by identifying themselves at the main gate. We will line up on the north east end of the field at 6:30pm (there will be an announcement when it is time to line up). Players will be in numerical order followed by the cheerleaders.

Art Club Meets on Wednesdays after school until 4:00pm.

There will be a History Club meeting during lunch on Monday, October 21st in Ms. Cutright’s room. We will be discussing the Veterans Day Program.

A Night at the Movies, PHS Haunted House October 25th and October 27th – 7pm-10pm. Cost is $3 per person.

Women in Industrial Careers information day, November 6th 9am-2pm at the Highland Church of Christ. Lunch will be provided. Any girls interested, please sign up outside of Mrs. Rich’s office.

Picture Retake Day is Nov. 7th.

HHS Homecoming is December 7th. PHS students are allowed to attend. School Event Student Request Form needs completed if you are bringing a guest that is not a current HHS or PHS student. These forms are due a week before the dance, which is Saturday, December 7. If you need a form, please check in the PHS office. Also, if you know you are attending – let the PHS office know. Thanks

RED RIBBON WEEK
October 28th – November 1st
In a cooperative effort PGS & PHS will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week! This is a great way for the two schools to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. We will participate in dress up days, partake in a Fall Parade, and do learning/demonstrations throughout the week.

**We will be allowing students to drive an alternative vehicle to school to promote this day. Tractors (any high school age) / farm side by sides, mowers, or whatever (16yr+)!
