Dallas Kidwell, Editor

On Monday April 17th, our Hut-Pal Tigers took on the Heritage Hawks for the second time this season. The Tigers got an early lead in the first inning, scoring 3 with Kegan Cooper being the first to score. The Hawks scored 4 runs by the fourth inning by a home run and some other runs. The Tigers scored 3 more and the Hawks scored 4 more runs, making it 8-6, with the Hawks ahead going into the bottom of the sixth. Brennen Burkett hit a three run home run to get the Tigers the lead. The Hawks came up in the top of the seventh, and also hit a 3 run home run. The Tigers could not get any runs to catch up, and lost the game 12-9. It was a hard fought game and overall one of the better games the Tigers have played. They play on Friday, April 19th against the Martinsville Bluestreaks.
