On Monday March 11, the girls basketball team got together for the last time this school year.  They ate pizza and had fun while they received their awards for the season.

The freshman got their varsity letters and everyone else got a pin to go on their letters.

Coach Blank gives three awards out: highest free throw percentage, top points and, a defense award.  Katie Draper received both the highest free throw percentage and top points with 234 points, and Stephanie Rudd got the defense award.

Coach Blank said that he has only had four players ever get 1000 points in their high school careers and if Katie keeps playing like she did this year then she will get 1000 points.  Right now she is ahead of where those students were at the end of their freshman year.
