This weekend Avry Monti and Trace Sisil traveled to Olney to fish the icasstt tournament league. The tournament was at east fork lake in Olney, Illinois. There were 60 boats at this tournament and Avry and Trace got 21st out of 60 boats. It was a very hard tournament to fish the reasoning behind that is because it got really cold the night before which causes fish to go as they say lock jaw because they got too cold to fast and are just being lazy sitting on the bottom of the lake not doing anything. It make it very hard to find fish as well because they are holding tight to structure because the structure holds heat. The fish will pile in there and not eat or move for the whole day, but Trace and Avry struggled all day long trying to catch the five fish they need but they did eventually. There were no big fish caught by them there total weight of five fish was 6.7 pounds. There were a lot of teams that did not exceed the five fish limit which is not surprising to avry or trace it really was a struggle the whole day but they had enough weight to get a good enough finish to get some good points off of the tournament.
