Bam Adebayo is now second all-time in scoring in a single game. He surpassed Kobe’s long standing record on March 10, 2026. This is wild for a player that previously had a highscoring game of 41. A lot of people are saying it is a fluke mostly from how many free throws he took and his second best game.

Bam is now written in history for the NBA and will most likely be there for a long time. People still debate if the game was a fluke or not though. Bam has been a pretty good player in the league for a while and has had his fair share of pretty good games but nothing even close to this. What most people are saying is it wasn’t that great because he shot 43 free throws but he still had great shots and one of the best games in NBA history. People are comparing it to Kobe’s 81 point game that previously held the number two spot and how he only took 20 free throws but the game is different now and more and more free throws are being shot across the league. So for a game like this it wasn’t too surprising.
