Week 21 rankings are interesting. Most of the top 20 teams played a better team that was in the top 10 and in 94% of these games the lower seeded team won. So this week you can see a little movement and some weird wins.
There were two games that stood out the most this week, The Bulls and Suns where the Bulls won and the Nets beat the Pistons. These games were so big because the teams that played each other had a very big gap in the rankings. That made the “better” teams drop in the rankings. With this said, let’s see the player of the week. The player of the week is Victor Wembanyama with a plus 98 which is very good. The worst player had to be PJ Washington with minus 58 but we have seen worse. The best team of the week was the San Antonio Spurs going 4-0 while the Milwaukee Bucks went 1-3. In the battle vs the East and West the west is up 177-166. The highest jump of the week was Miami going up three spots. The Philadelphia 76ers went down five spots, which might be the worst drop of the season.
With everything covered you can really tell the playoffs are about to start. Unexpected teams winning more games, upsets, that is what the playoffs is about. For more information on the rankings and games look on nba.com.
