We have gotten to the point in the season when you can most likely guess who will not be in the playoffs. But some closer teams are trying to play their absolute best every night to clinch a spot even if it is at the bottom. We normally see more and more competition closer too and in the playoffs so be ready for some unexpected games. Here are your week 20 power rankings.
The best player of the week was Kon Knueppl with plus 74 in his last three games and the worst had to be Toumani Cara with minus 62 in his last four. The team of the week was the Minnesota Timberwolves going 3-0 on the week while Indiana played the worst going 0-3. The west is still on top in their battle versus the east with a record of 160-157, but there still is a chance for the east to pull out with the win. The biggest rise in the rankings was only 2 spots by Minnesota and Orlando. The biggest fall was also 2 spots with Denver, Golden State, and the LA Clippers falling in the rankings. The team to watch has to be the San Antonio Spurs, winning against a tough Detroit team was big for them if they want to keep that top spot.
This week was pretty interesting and I hope to see more from here on out. With the playoffs coming soon it is hard to tell what will happen next. For more information go to NBA.com.
