Week 17 Power Rankings are out. This week looks like another domination by the West. With trades in and set in stone some teams might be looking a lot better and start doing a lot better than the first half of their season. 

Lets get straight into it with the worst and best players in the week at the top we have Tyrese Maxey and at the bottom we have Nic Claxton. The team of the week would have to be the LA Lakers going 3-0, the question is if that will last. Have they finally found their spark? We will have to see when they play the Thunder and the Spurs next week. The worst team would have to be the Bulls going 0-3. Did they give up too much in trades? The west is still mining by a small margin against the east 142-139. There was quite a bit of movement in the rankings with the New York Knicks going up 3 spots. There are 4 teams that went down 3 spots, that would be Houston, LA Clippers, Indiana, and Minnesota. The team to watch would have to be Charlette. They are playing great basketball going on a nine game winning streak and about to play the Pistons.

There are the full rankings on NBA.com like always. This week was kind of interesting seeing how teams have dropped. The top 10 is looking interesting with a few teams you wouldn’t expect but with all this said we can’t wait to see what the rankings will look like in weeks to come.
