For the power rankings in week sixteen there hasn’t been as much movement as usual but it is still a little interesting. There are still tight races for some teams to end up top six in their conference so they won’t have to play in the SoFi, Play In tournament. As well as trying to get to the top four so they have home court advantage in the first round. For some teams it can be more important than others.
Right away we are going to get into the best and worst players for the week. At the top we have Brandon Miller on the Hornets boosting them with a big win streak while Donovan Clingan isn’t playing his best. The team with the best record was the Hornets going 4-0 but the Memphis Grizzlies went 0-4. Charlotte have moved up 3 spots and are looking like a much better team than expected. The battle between the West and East is getting more interesting with the East going 18-8 last week making the overall record 135-125. The movement in the rankings aren’t bad with the LA Clippers going up 4 spots and the Portland Trailblazers and the Utah Jazz falling 4 spots. Detroit is the team to look out for though beating the Denver Nuggets. Denver didn’t have their star player Nikola Jokic but they do play them next week when he is back.
This week’s power rankings weren’t as interesting as other weeks but there was still some movement. To get more info check out NBA.com. Next week’s rankings are expected to be interesting. Can’t wait to see what happens.
