This year’s winter sports are off to a bang. This year has been a pretty good year for winter sports. The boys’ basketball team’s record is 3-4. The girls’ record is 5-3. For wrestling, Owen Griffin got 4th in his match at Lawrenceville, and Cole Littlejon got 3rd. These teams have shown a lot of dedication this year so far. They are continuing to show teams what they are made of on the court and on the mat. Boys’ basketball cheerleading has been killing it by showing off what they can do, and to say the least it is impressive.
The boys basketball team goes to Martensville to play tonight. The girls next game is tonight against Casey. This Casey team has a 1-5 record. Talking to Emily Rachoy, she thinks it is going to be a good game. The reasoning t Casey has that record is because they have had a hard schedule says Kurtis Plew. The boys feel confident going into the Martensville game even after their loss to Cumberland. They feel that if they play to the hype, they can perform very well in this game.
I am very excited to see what these Wildcat teams bring to the table tonight. Let’s go Wildcats!
