Over last week Lebron James’ 1,297 game double digit scoring record ended in a win against the Raptors. That means Lebron had scored at least 10 points in every game he’s played for 18 seasons but it ended on Thursday December 4, 2025.
In a close game against the Toronto Raptors, Lebron had the ball in his hands with the game tied up and only eight points with seconds left. Knowing that he most likely didn’t have enough points to continue his streak. The game meant more to him so he passed the ball to the open Ruchi Hachimura in the corner to win the game 123-120. Lebron was asked what thoughts he had about the streak ending at the post game conference and said “None” and “We won”. This speaks volumes about Lebron’s character and how the game is supposed to be played.
Lebron said he always will make the right play in that situation and he has shown that in multiple games. Of course in these games there wasn’t a very long record in jeopardy but he still makes the right play in these situations. This adds another record to Lebron’s very long career and representation as the “goat” to millions.
