The Milwaukee Bucks beat the New York Knicks 121-111. The Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo has a lot to say about the game. Giannis finished the game with 37 points, 8 rebounds, and seven assists. Last year was not their best, they couldn’t compete with the top teams in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand this year they are off to a great start beating the team that swept them last year.
Giannis is closing in to the end of his contract with the Bucks raising more speculation of where he might go and if he wants to be on this team anymore with its losses. Reportedly in the preseason camp he told Bucks management that if he was to be traded he would want to go to New York. When asked he declined to address it. “Right now I’m here representing my team, and that’s it,” Antetokounmpo said. “We beat the Knicks. What matters right now is we have a game in two days against Golden State. Try to stay locked in and get two in a row. I didn’t read that article. I try to stay away from all that rumors, speculation and trade and all this. It doesn’t concern me one bit.”. Gianna discussed this topic more after the report and he said that he is “Locked in” with the Bucks.
Even with all the rumors about trade Giannis and his team continue to play well and hope to not have a repeat of last season. Giannis is playing at his best right now and is the Easter Conference player of the week.
