The OPH boys track team traveled to Cumberland on April 16th for the Pirate Invite. This was an all boys meet consisting of 11 teams. OPH finished 12th out of 13 teams edging out Dietrich.
Top finishers for the boys were Ray Woodward and Will Callaway, tying for 7th in the High Jump, and Jack Hawkins placing 7th in Shot Put. Grant Wampler placed 9th in Shot Put and 12th in the Discus. Elijah Estep placed 13th in the 100, while Ryerson Beabout came in 16th. The 4×100 placed 6th while the 4×200 came in 4th.
It was a rough meet for the boys as injuries are starting to come about. The boys will be in Robinson on Friday, April 19th, for the Coach Cork Invitational beginning at 4:00 pm.
