Harmon’s Drug Store, a family-owned pharmacy, has been proudly serving Crawford County for 78 years. The first store was opened in Oblong in 1946. The Harmon family has expanded Harmon’s Drug Store to two other locations over the years to better serve Crawford County. In 2015, Brad and Chad Harmon opened a new store in the old bank building across from Palestine High School. The newest edition to Harmon’s is located in the newly renovated Crawford Memorial Rural Health Clinic in Robinson.
Since Harmon’s Drug Store opened in Palestine in 2015, there have been a lot of people within the community that has switched pharmacies. With the store being located in the heart of Palestine, people find it easier to make a short trip up to Main Street, rather than driving to Robinson. People in the community also know that every time they visit the store, they are going to be treated like they are family, not just customers. This is one of the things that makes Harmon’s Drug Store so special.
Not only is Harmon’s in Palestine a place for you to get your medicine, but it also has a variety of other goods and services. Harmon’s offers influenza, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, COVID, and Tdap vaccines at all of their locations. They also offer a wide range of items that you can purchase such as over-the-counter medicine, personal care products, cards, etc. Harmon’s can also help people get access to home medical devices such as lift chairs, walkers, crutches, and respiratory equipment.
