OPH vs. Neoga

OPH+vs.+Neoga

 Friday, February 9th OPH hosted the Neoga Indians at Oblong and won 52-43.

 The JV game was a close one but the Indians  came away with the win with a score of 50-44.  The starters for the game were Lucas Blessing, Caden Goodwin, Andrew Amburgey, RJ Hays, and Owen Hackett 

The Varsity match up was also intense.  The starters for the game were, Max Lewis, Trevan Webster, Riley Blank, Rowan Bailey, and Will Callaway.

Three players for OPH were in double figures, led by Riley Blank with 20 points, Trevan Webster 13 points and Graydon Kincaid 11 points. Others scoring for the Wildcats included Will Callaway with four points, Rowan Bailey three points and Max Lewis one point

The whole gym was emotional as Senior Max Lewis left the Oblong court one last time.  Max has been a dominant force for the basketball program over the years. KJ Davis, 2023 State Long Jump Champion was also recognized at the game with a banner that will be hung in the high school gym.
