Scholastic Bowl Match

Chrissy Arvin

On Monday, January 8th, our Pal-Hut Scholastic Bowl Varsity and JV teams jumped back into action in Robinson High School. We competed against Robinson, Newton, and Richland County High Schools. Our Varsity team ended the night with a 2-1 score. The Varsity team beat Robinson with a score of 120-90. Then suffered a loss but it was a close game against Richland County, losing by only 10 points, which is only one question. Followed by another win for Pal-Hut Varsity, against Newton with a score of 210-140.

Our JV also had a 2-1 score leaving the game. Although losing their first match against Robinson, with a score of 110-190, the pulled back through playing and winning the next two matches. The next match against Richland Country ended with a score 230-70! After they also beat Newton with a score 190-160.

The next time our Pal-Hut Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will go back into action this Thursday at Newton High School starting at 5! We will be facing off against Lawrenceville, Marshall, and Newton. Which is sure to be another exciting evening.
