Madrigal Feast at the Fife


Christmas season is approaching and everyone is getting ready for the most wonderful time of the year. The Fife is putting on a Madrigal feast. Madrigal means a part song for several voices, especially one of the Renaissance period, typically arranged in an elaborate counterpoint and without instrumental accompaniment. The Fife wants you to join to celebrate the yuletide season with their madrigal singers, from three birds playhouse, and a wonderful catered meal in royal olde english style. The Madrigal singing is put on by Three Birds Playhouse and it is directed by Becky Miller. Guest are also allowed to attend in costume; or just something nice. All proceeds go towards

This is on December 2nd and 3rd at the Fife Opera House-Palestine, IL

The doors open at 5:30 pm and the feast and merriment begin at 6 pm.

Adult tickets (14+) are $30 and children (age 5-13) are $15
