There is a wrestling trip to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana on November 2nd. Those interested need to sign up in the office no later than Wednesday, October 25. It costs $5 to go. Let’s fill up the bus!
This is the University of Illinois home opening wrestling competition vs Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. The bus will leave Oblong High School at 3:30 pm. Mr. Will will drive over people interested who can’t drive.
The group hopes to return around 11:00 pm. The cost for the wrestling trip is $5, and you are being asked to bring your own sack lunch for supper. We encourage all wrestlers to attend because it will be a good team bonding experience.Those who are on the fence of joining the team should go because it is a neat opportunity. Coach Rosborough has a great connection with the University of Illinos and is trying to get kids to compete at the college level. Coach is also very knowledgeable about wrestling and cares about students’ grades. He seems very much into the program, and Mr. Will thinks more people should join.
