The Illinois Refining Division and its area partners are hosting a 2023 FIND Your Career Day. This event will be held on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM at Robinson High School gym.

FIND is an acronym for focus initiate network develop.

The vendors for FIND will educate local high school students and college students on job opportunities in this area. Students will learn about high-paying career avenues and receive employer contact information, vocational and non-vocational school financial aid information, and resume and interview skills sessions. Local colleges will be in attendance to provide information on scholarships, financial aid, and potential internships. Marathon’s goal with this event is to expose students to as many professional careers as possible. Students will also have an opportunity to network and meet industry representatives from different companies that have vast connections and experiences. This event is a great opportunity for students to find a career path that they want to pursue and get into contact with professionals that can help guide them down the path of their career. 

PHS Seniors will need to turn in their permission slip for the field trip before October 18th to be able to go.

This year’s event is currently on pace to have more people participating than in the past years
