The OPH JV Wildcats played the North Central Thunderbirds, last night, October 3. The game ended with what some would call a beautiful sight on the score board — the Wildcats with a score of 20 and the Thunderbirds with a score 12! The Wildcats kept pressure on the Thunderbirds throughout the game and came out the other side winners!
Throughout the game last night the PGS and PHS pep band played. The PHS Yearbook staff manned the concession booth and the fans kept the night loud. The Wildcats were surrounded with loved ones and fans at the end of the game celebrating their victory.

A win to end the Wildcats JV season seems like a good way to end a season. But… these boys are not completely finished. They will attend and possibly play in the OPH Varsity Wildcats team’s ending games. The OPH Varsity Wildcats now look forward to their next games: Oblong Homecoming, Saturday, October 7, at 1:00 pm at Oblong Football Field against Lewistown High School, and Palestine Homecoming, October 13, at 7:00 pm at Palestine Football Field against Tecumseh Middle/High High School. Then they will complete their season at Tuscola High School on Friday October 20, at 7:00 pm.
