Bonfire Prep!

Bonfire+Prep%21
Charlie Burkett

Every year for Homecoming we have a parade that ends with a chili supper, fun games for the crowd, and finally, a bonfire. Each year, the seniors pride themselves on making “their” bonfire as high as possible. This year, unfortunately, there weren’t that many pallets for the fire to even be as big as normal, and seniors were determined to get more pallets to stack higher, so the fire could be bigger.

Talking amongst the group chat with the majority of the seniors, Charlie Burkett said that there were pallets at RP Lumber that we could take and use. With the help of Wade Bickers, the bonfire problem has now been solved.  Wade grabbed the pallets from RP Lumber, and took them over to the grade school football field where the bonfire is going to be located.

With the help of Wade and even his little assistants, Charlie Burkett and Zoey Beabout, the Homecoming bonfire will now be way better than it originally would have been. A huge shout out to Wade for being a “manly man” and being able to throw and attempt to stack the pallets as high as possible. Now on Wednesday, October 11th, we can all enjoy the bonfire without the worry of there not being enough pallets to keep it big.

Please come on out and enjoy it with us, it’s not something you would want to miss!

Charlie and Zoey being such great assistants by snapping pictures of Wade transferring the pallets from his truck to the pile.
