As we roll into another year, the Pioneer Pages Staff is hard at work bringing new articles to you every week, but now Pioneer Pages will now be easier to access by the student body and community. Pioneer Pages will now be available from your phone! This app is a simple, easy, and effective way to get articles like this one to you. Please take the time and download this app to your phone to get updates on your student body, school, and community.

The app is free for you to download and easy to use. To download and use the app follow these simple directions:

  1. Open the App Store or Google Play
  2. Search ‘SNO Sites’ in your search bar
  3. Select ‘Student News Source’
  4. Open the app
  5. In the ‘search for your school’ space, type ‘Palestine High School’
  6. Enjoy our news site!

This app will allow you to get notifications when we post news stories, so our readers can stay up to date with what is happening around the school and in our community. No matter when or where you are looking, the site and the app are completely synced allowing for full viewing of everything we have published. As readers you can follow certain writers and can be alerted when they post.

This app is available to us because of Flying S, INC. According to their website, Flying S is primarily an engineering company that creates complete manufacturing solutions for various customers within the aviation and aerospace industry. Their engineering team is supported by an extensive CNC machine shop and carbon fiber composite lab. The ability for prototypes to become production hardware under one roof makes engineering and fabricating solutions rapid.

Flying S INC. donated the money for this app to be possible, and the staff of Pioneer Pages could not be more grateful for their generosity. As a thank you, Pioneer Pages will feature Flying S INC.’s ad and any Flying S news on our site. They will also be given a business card ad in our 2023-2024 yearbook.

We ask that all of our students use this app. You don’t just have to read — you can comment on articles and interact with polls, as well as send in photos and/or topics that you want to hear about.
