When it comes to school lunch, it may be the reason some students are excited to come back to school, and it may be the reason students dread coming back to school. According to Daylen, “I wouldn’t say I dread coming back to school just because of the lunches.” Daylen may even be excited to come to school on salisbury steak day, considering it is her favorite school meal. A day she may consider skipping because of lunch may be specifically “chicken patty on whole grain bun and fat free ranch” day. She really wishes they would serve hash brown casserole some day.
