Wednesday, May 3rd Hutsonville softball visited their Crawford County rivals Oblong and picked up a Little Okaw Valley Conference win 12-9. This was the teams second match up.

In the top of first, the Lady Tigers got on the scoreboard early with a pair of runs.  Hutsonville led 2-0 after a half inning. In the bottom of the first, Oblong was able to cut the score in half 2-1.

In the top of the second, Hutsonville led 4-1. McNair would later advance on a single by Alaina Holcomb and scored on a single by Able to make the score 5-1. In the bottom of the second, the Lady Panthers loaded the bases with no outs, but Hutsonville got out of the jam with no bad airs.

In the top of the third, the Lady Tigers had four consecutive singles by Monan, Coffman, Higginbotham and McNair to increase their led to 6-1. In the bottom of the third, Oblong cut the deficit to 6-2.

In the top of the fourth, 10-2 score. Bottom of the fourth Oblong matched Hutsonville with making the score 10-6.

In the top of the fifth, with two outs, Hutsonville was able to dig out two more runs making the score 12-6. Oblong scored once and then once again in the sixth making the score 12-8.

In the bottom of the seventh, Oblong squeezed in a run to make the ending score 12-9. A Lady Tiger Victory.
